Social prescribing made simple.

This was one of those rare, deeply rewarding projects with a genuine positive impact on society. I was introduced to the world of social prescribing by a research team at Lancaster University and tasked with designing a clear, accessible experience that connects people and organisations with social prescribing activities in their local communities.

Built entirely from the ground up, the project spanned everything from logo and brand identity design through to early wireframes, concepts, and feature definition. Key functionality included searching for activities by keyword or location, alongside tools to support both individual and corporate donations to social prescribing initiatives across the country.

Using activity as a way to support mental and physical wellbeing is a powerful approach — one that encourages healthier lifestyles while strengthening community connections. Contributing to a platform that helps make this more accessible was incredibly meaningful.
