Connecting The North.

My final project as Lead Designer at Mosquito Digital was working with Transport for the North to help communicate the vision and benefits of the Northern Powerhouse Rail initiative.

The brief was to design a series of dedicated web pages for major cities across the North of England — including Manchester, Liverpool, Hull, Newcastle, Sheffield, and Leeds — clearly outlining how Northern Powerhouse Rail would strengthen local economies, expand job markets, and improve connectivity across the region.

I created bespoke visual concepts for each city, supported by custom illustrations that highlighted local landmarks, heritage, and the industries driving growth. The result was a cohesive yet locally distinctive set of pages that brought the initiative to life while resonating with each city’s unique identity.
