Ethical eCommerce

A marketplace for ethical consumerism.

I was approached by local start-up Veo to help bring their ethical eCommerce platform to life. Working with the team was a pleasure — they genuinely lived and breathed their brand values, which made the project both rewarding and meaningful.

From our first meeting, Veo founder Joe Darwen and I built a strong working relationship. Being able to openly share ideas and challenge thinking on both sides helped shape the design direction, and I quickly became an embedded part of the team — often working alongside them from their co-working space in Castlefield, Manchester.

The platform still operates with a UI that closely reflects the original design, and it’s been great to see Veo grow into a trusted destination for ethical products, sustainability-led trends, and editorial content focused on responsible fashion, homewares and manufacturing.
